ObamaCare architect Jonathan Grubers boast about deceiving the American voter, who he deems to be stupid, in order to pass an unpopular health care law is symptomatic of ivory tower elitism. Gruber thinks the American people are not smart enough to discern their own interests, so he claims for himself the authority to concoct a mass deception in service of passing a law the American people did not want. One troubling aspect of this fiasco that has not received enough attention is that Gruber raked in more than $400,000 in taxpayer dollars for consulting fees in compensation for his efforts to get the bill passed. So, basically, the American taxpayer lined Grubers pocket with hundreds of thousands of dollars so that Gruber could help pull the wool over the eyes of the American public. Good grief!
