Obedience For theres no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.We dont often think of it this way, but doing what God asks is the greatest test of not only our faith in Him but also our love and reverence for Him. Jesus said as much in Johns gospel:If you love Me, you will keep My commandments (14-15).In the Old Testament, obedience to God was the one tie that held His people together, and prophets spoke:Samuel said, Has the Lord as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat rams. When you obey God, we are giving the greatest tangible evidence that we truly believe and trust in our heavenly Father. The apostle Paul called thisthe obedience of faith (Rom.1:5) and Peter urges us to beobedient children(1 Peter 1:14). Love yall lots in Jesus name Amen !!!!!!
