Obi steps down today, WHICH WAY ANAMBRA? As we all know today, in d hostory and annals of our dear & lovely state, Anambra, THE LIGHT OF D NATION, power wil change hands. Som already are wonderin what d future holds for us, how things would be done in d next couple of years, how efficient d government would be run etc. Mr Peter Obis 8 years in office was neva in vain, as we all got the dividends of democracy. Though ab initio, controversies thrailed his tenure, but I was made to understand dat ONE CANNOT MAKE AN OMELETTE WITHOUT BREAKING EGGS. Mr Obi has proven to us dat integrity and sincerity of purpose matter, not just to political office holders, but to everyone trying to achieve greatness. Mr Obi, a man I have always admired 4rm d onset, not just because he is 4rm my Alma Mater, but because of his dogged perseverance in d face of difficulties, his focus and determination when all hope seem to have been lost, bringing to an end gangsterism, political god-fatherism and above all, giving a new face to Anambra State, both in Nigeria and in d diaspora. As his name implies; Peter, A ROCK INDEED. HE has silenced evry cabal in Anambra politics, who in times past have lorded it over to their families. AS FOR CHIEF WILLIE OBIANO, the incoming governor, he is a man of pedigree, substance, discipline, sincerity etc. A man who has carved a niche for himself in the banking sector, having won so many awards as a banker, an erudite scholar. Today he will be sworn in. What do we have for him Anambrarians? Are we going to go in tandem with him or do we continue in our old criticizing way? Prepare your mindset to receive and accept Chief Dr. Willie Obiano, AKPOKUEDIKE 1 NA AGULERI. Always have this in mind; UNEASY LIES THE HEAD THAT WEARS THE CROWN. He needs our support, courage, advice, luv & above all, prayers. Without God on his side, he wont make headway. Father we thank u 4 d gift of Willie. All gud things come 4rm u, and of Your own do we give You(1st Chron 29:14).
