Obituary for Jean M. WagnerAge 75 and a longtime resident of Albany, Jean passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Richard Murphy Hospice House in Hammond. She was a 60 plus year member of Blood River Baptist church in Albany and a current member of Eastside Baptist Church in Ponchatoula. The Family would like to thank North Oaks Hospice and Richard Murphy Hospice for their care and compassion shown to them at such a difficult time in their lives. Jean leaves behind her five daughters, Cheryl Sibley and husband Randall, Donna Spier and husband Wade, Lori Wagner, Lynda Correira and husband Rev. David, Myra Wagner Butts, along with her grandchildren, Chasity, Chip, Trampas, Cheyene and wife Lauren, Chaase, Jake & fiancé Brittany, Oaklin, Brice and wife Lacie, Chelsy, David Jr., Jordan, Morgan and Mason; great-grandchildren, Harley Jo, Brooklyn, Lundyn, Hayes and Memphis. She is also survived by her sisters, Ava Lee Watts, Vergie Allen and husband Bobby; brother, Carter Morgan and wife Tiffany, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Jean in death were her parents, William “Bob” and Delma Glascock Morgan. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in Hammond on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Stan Watts & Rev. David Correira will conduct the service and Interment will follow in Blood River Baptist Church Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Richard Murphy Foundation, 16013 Halbert Lane Hammond, LA 70403.
