…Obj may have many good intentions as well as bad, just like every Nigerian politician... But it is a standard PDP tradition that incumbent interests do not count in new elections. Such that I would not blame Obj for that standard tradition that have long existed. as democrats, and if GEJ candidacy was the issue PDP could not take, the so called majority in the PDP are also free to exercise them right and select a suitable candidate at the party’s primary elections; a candidate that will pacify all interests and stabilize the polity. As people from the south, Obj has done more stabilizing works for the region as president, though he is not geographically from the region. we have not forgotten that and so his interests in the 2015 presidential elections and who becomes the flag bearer is also important and should not then be ignored or swept under the carpet. We do not also believe that only people from south south region can bring about genuine change and development to the Niger Delta…as we know for example, the 3rd mainland bridge over and across the lagoons in Lagos (aka city of David) was not built by a Lagos govt or youruba man president, it was built by IBB…let them that are interested vie, the most accepted candidate should contest the election for president in the PDP come 2015…
