Observations for Saturday November 23rd Northerly flow this morning with developing NEerly trades, only a few isolated windward & mauka showers. REEF HAWAIIAN PRO UPDATE FOR SATURDAY: EVENT IS ON STAND BY 11:00AM CALL FOR POSSIBLE 12:00 START. 1-2FT SURF ON HAND, FORECASTED TO INCREASE THROUGH THE DAY TO 2-3+. NEXT CALL 11:00AM TODAY. NORTH: Rising on the new N-NW pulse at 1-2+; fairly smooth dawn, increasing sideshore texture midday from the increasing N-NE trade wind flow. 3 waves possible by later today. The Vans Triple Crown is on stand-by at Alii Beach Park (its flat) with the Reef Hawaiian Pro and could finish on the new 3-5 NNW Sunday thanks to the extended permit. West: Makaha rising at 0-2 on the N-NW this morning, bertter this afternoon; dawn is clean and smooth but onshores expected late morning. Town Side: Ala Moana, Kaisers, Kewalos are holding on S-SW pulse at 0-1 occ inconsistent 2, loooong waits for the 2 footers; smooth. Diamond Head: Holding on a S-SW at 1-occas 2; really smooth now then light sideshore bumpiness later. SANDYS: Holding at 1-2 with excellent clean conditions and breaking near shore. East: Makapuu: Holding on the N & trade wind swell at 1-2 near shore on the Keiki or right side with light winds.
