**Observations from my first GNR** You walk miles before you get to your pen to wait for the start and the amount of people you see in a bush as you walk past the thousands of lined up runners is crazy. Going through any tunnel results in every single person joining in with OGGY OGGY OGGY The atmosphere is electric to the point that you dont even feel like you have been running that long, glance at watch to see your legs have been moving for over an hour Some women have no shame and will not even find a bush that covers them along the route (a vision I wish would fade rapidly from my memory) The kindness of each and every single person who comes out to support is overwhelming, I LOVE that lady that was handing out Ice Pops, the little girl who gave me a slice of orange and the many children I made sure to give a High 5 to slightly confused by the lady that was handing out sausage rolls at 10miles....not sure thats quite what I fancied at that point ha Ive woke this morning at (3.15am for work urgh) feeling extremely thirsty and very sun kissed. Amazing Memories, just shows you dont need to Love running or even like it to enjoy an amazing day x
