Observations which my only interest me, from this weeks travels across Georgia for Lake Homes Realty: 1. Driving through Arcade, GA, some likely unoriginal questions crossed my mind. Does the Pin Ball Wizard live here? Can you pay parking tickets and meters with tokens? Why arent there more obstacles in the very straight highway through town? 2. In rural GA saw a pickup off in a yard, the hood propped open with an entire wooden pallet. The truck and the pallet were black and charred, clearly from a large fire. I imagine prior to this were two discussions, the first starting with the question, How we gonna keep the hood open to work on the truck? followed later by something like, I think it just needs more starter fluid? 3. For some reason, in rural Georgia on four lane highways, the left lane is very popular for drivers going almost the speed limit but not as fast as the flow of most of the rest of the traffic (which doesnt really speed too much either). Lots of rolling highway congestion. 4. The Longstreet Café in Gainesville GA has figured out how to make breakfast a booming business. The parking lot was packed and the drive through line wrapped around the building for a place that is NOT a chain fast food joint and has a HUGE breakfast selection.
