Observing so many of my friends getting married and engaged, over the past five years, I am completely stumped by how almost all women expect/demand diamonds (rocks) for their engagement and all the guys succumb to this ridiculous tradition. Despite everyone knowing the truth, of how this is the greatest marketing campaign in marketing history, our inability to extricate ourselves from such an artificial tradition is incredible! Its like knowing you were brain-washed and yet choosing to stay brain-washed. #wtf #timetocallbullshit
