Obviously the biggest trending story on the internet is TMZ video of Ray Rice punching out his now wife in the casino elevator. Being cut by the Ravens and subsequent suspension by the NFL gets neither off the hook. Had that video ( timed perfectly by TMZ for opening weekend) not surfaced he would be going merrily on his way earning 3.5 million dollars this season. For those who might be tempted to excuse or downgrade his conduct please remember he is a highly trained 225 pound athlete who operates daily in hand to hand combat with huge men who are equally trained. Ive done enough domestic abuse interviews in my career to understand that some women, for a variety of reasons, blame themselves for the abuse. There is no excuse EVER!
