Occasionally, I get an email that stops me in my tracks. When some busy soul on the planet takes the time to tell a beautiful, personal story that involves my music ~ I am humbled & floored. Not saying this to impress - but, rather to impress upon us all. We DO effect one another. What you say. How you love … or dont love. How we communicate … matters. In my case - its a song or a lyric. But, it might be a simple smile or a kind word that turns a persons day (or thoughts) around. I am truly grateful to the person who wrote that beautiful email today because on days like today when the planes are full (or not working at all), and Im scrambling to finish a record & working on lyrics & performing & getting a little sleep here & there … I am grateful to have the opportunity to be reminded of exactly why I got into this whole Music thang in the first place. Love.Heart.Soul.Life.Connection ...
