Occasionally a poignant moment occurs on CNN. Im not saying its common. Anderson Cooper was interviewing a columnist for Charlie Hebdo, who also happens to be an ER doctor. The columnist was at the scene of the murders of his friends shortly after they occurred. When Cooper asked whether he was afraid: I dont know if Im afraid… I was scared for my friends, and they are dead. So I dont know where my fear is anymore. I know that they didnt want us to be quiet. They wanted us to continue to fight for these values, cultural pluralism, democracy and secularism, the respect for others. They would be murdered twice if we remained silent.
