Oct 15th It is time for each on of you to take the road to slow down the effects of aging of your body before it is too late. They fed mice a fast food diet for 5 months, the mice developed insulin sensitivity, impaired glucose tolerance, impaired exercise ability, and heart dysfunction. But when the mice were put on a healthy diet and started to exercise it started to counteract the effects of the poor diet. Dr White also observed a number of improvements, including body weight, metabolism, and cardiac function. They also saw a significant decrease in signs of cell senescence and associated inflammation. The results do suggest that lifestyle choices do play a major role in cell aging and that exercise may help protect against aging by interfering with cell senescence(cell aging). The data clearly shows that poor nutritional choices, and poor lifestyle eating choices dramatically accelerate the accumulation of senescent cells, and for the first time, that exercise can prevent or delay the fundamental process of aging. The data underscore the profound impact of lifestyle choices on health a successful aging, Dr White stated.
