In celebration of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Asissi, many congregations offer blessings for family pets on or around Oct. 4. MCHS will be joining St. Johns Episcopal Church in Chevy Chase on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 5 for an adoption fair and Blessing of the Animals.
