October 21, 2011 was a very interesting and hilarious day! I remember how tired I was from cooking all the food and so worried about not having enough libations and a myriad of other things. Our favorite judge and uber nice guy Mike Astrab performed the ceremony and before he got to the end, Jim and I did the big kiss and Mike reminded us there was more to say. As for the food, you guys know how I love to cook and trust me I cooked a lot! At the end of the day the pans all looked as if they had been licked clean, three cakes were reduced to crumbs, and around midnight a very very late guest showed up asking if she had missed the ceremony. Everyone said they had a great time and that meant more to us than anything. Since then I have lost about 25 pounds or so, those little kids are now a lot taller and a lot bigger. We have moved into a wonderful house with a lot more space. I think the most amazing thing is that the first time we laid eyes on each, we knew, we just knew!
