About Our Speakers: Donna J. H. Novitsky, CEO Yiftee Depending on how you count them, Yiftee is Donna’s 3rd or 19th start-up. She is also a former partner of a leading venture capital firm, teaches marketing to engineers and entrepreneurs at Stanford University, is a frequent public speaker, took a startup from scratch to IPO, and is mother of two teenage kids. She was named one of the 2014 Top 10 Women to Watch in Tech by Inc. Magazine in April 2014. As co-founder and CEO of Yiftee, Local Gifts, On-the-Go, Donna leverages her leadership and marketing background to build a global mobile commerce company for local businesses and consumers. Prior to Yiftee, Donna was CEO of Big Tent Design, bigtent, a fast-growth Internet company that provides a free web software platform for groups. Donna joined Big Tent from Mohr, Davidow Ventures (MDV) serving as VP Marketing in sixteen MDV-funded start-ups. Prior to MDV, Donna had executive roles at Clarify Inc. Donna holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with Distinction from Stanford University and a Harvard MBA. She is married with two teenage children and participates actively as a high school volunteer. Anurag Kumar, CEO of iTexico Anurag Kumar is an experienced global technology and management leader with a talent for finding innovative solutions to complex business problems and building and growing businesses. He is skilled at forming and managing globally distributed teams and motivating them to focus on customer needs and revenue generating activities. He has extensive experience working with and leading companies that range in size from the Global 500 to pre-investment startups, including IBM, Dell, TCS, KPMG. He is currently the CEO of iTexico, an innovative, award winning mobile and cloud solutions company with offices in US and Mexico Peter Jackson, CEO of Ziploop Peter loves to engage people in ideas with the intention of formulating disruptive applications that change markets. He has been involved with hundreds of business models. Through a handful of those models, he has built world class teams, services and products. He has taken two companies from inception to public markets, merged or purchased 20 companies and advised dozens others. Anil Kaul, CEO of Absolut Data Anil Kaul is a prominent figure in the field of Analytics and Market Research. He has a PhD in quantitative marketing from Cornell University. Before starting Absolutdata, Anil worked at Personify and McKinsey & Company. He has published articles in leading management and academic journals such as McKinsey Quarterly, Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research and International Journal of Research in Marketing. He has also been invited as a speaker at McKinsey & Co., Dartmouth, Cornell, UC Berkeley, Yale, Columbia and New York University. Panel Moderator: Pete Hayes is co-principal running the country’s largest strategic growth-implementation company focused on mid-size businesses. His firm, Chief Outsiders (ChiefOutsiders), which is headquartered in Houston and has offices across the country, helps CEOs of mid-size companies implement their visions for growth by deploying fractional, or part-time, Chief Marketing Officers.
