October 26,2013 Starting time 3.17 p.m Are we nearing major devastation in nearby future! Today October 26, and it has been raining in Jagdalpur since some days…………not only here,but also in many other places too,there are enormous ups and down of weather moods…………..resulting in the massive loss of the ready crops……..needless to say,the vegetables are 50,60,70…….pulses 80,90……….and of course,onion 100/kg………Since some years,there is so much change in the weather cycle……..in summer its too hot not bearable,there are floods,and now rain in the winter…. The petrol nearing 100rupees/litre…..and in case one has a car,then even to drive 20km daily for a month will cost around 6000rs……….i still recall in 1993 in Jagdalpur,chattisgarh, there were hardly any vehicles on the road,except some buses and jeeps , and the only convenience was rikshaw and now the whole of the town is flooded with vehicle,bikes ,cars………..and many families have vehicle for every member of the family……and this is the story of the whole country and the world ……..and seeing the way in which the automobiles numbers have flourished many folds even more than 100 folds in last ten years, that day is not far when we are going to land in the scarcity of the fuel………….just some years fuel remaining when we relate it to the pace in which it is consumed. Still recalling in 1994, while studying MGIMS sevagram hostel, father used to send around 1500 rupees,the mess charges were around 400-500 for the whole month, and we used to take poha for 3.50 rs and tea for 1.50………five rupees for sufficient for the breakfast………and that continued till year 2000………….and now seeing the students who are continuing the medical education in present time in govt colleges……….the fees around one lakh per year including hostel…….the mess charges have increased to 2500 per month…..the breakfast not less than 30 rupees for one time……..and considering that even if a student gets 8000 rupees per month for his/her expenditure……….its less…………..No doubt that the salary have also increased but thats the factor for those who are not govt employees………….and see the school fees also,if yours kid is studying in class I also,,,,,,then a good convent school will be charging around 50,000 per year………………….. In the last 10 years science has advances hugely, there is so much of developed in the medical sector,so much in computer technology,internet………Even with so much of medical advancement……….people do not have peace……….there are thousands of channels, and most of us sitting in the front of the television , just go on changing the channels,spending hours in front of televison. We are surrounded by so much news,now and then,that sometimes even we cannot believe that those things can happen…. Just ten years before,life was different……there was only one channel,doordarshan………..and even watching BUNIYAD,or URAN or mahabharat or ramayan,we were happy……….and before the television era ……after we return to home,we were having time for others ………sitting in the corridor of the small house in village,surrounded by so many neighbours and others……..people used to laugh/play,,,,,,we were caring for others……….life was beautiful …………and now we are just playing with ours mobile round the clock,,,,,,,,,,that even in home even if our near and dear ones ask us something,we are busy with internet or mobile or dancing with television remote……..thats the life for most of us……………that we do not have time for anyone……….. I was seeing with in some days,so many police persons have come here in Jagdalpur ………the whole Bastar is transformed into army base/army fort in view of the upcoming elections…………Never such things occurred in the past.The other day, my friend was telling …..go to a city, and be there in any locality,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,its so much quarrel for drinking water,electricity, land…..and for so much numerous things………because world population in in last hundred years has increased to more than 8 folds……some hundred crore in 1900…….and now nearing 800 crore……….Now as we witness most of the cities,there are sky touching buildings………….and it’s a chase/competition/blind fight to have the world luxuries at whatever cost/wrong thing one has to do……….. Seeing the frightening waves of rapid ups and downs of nature………so much unpredictable changes in the weather…………decline in the grains production………………..,Seeing the rush of automobiles and the chase for the fuel……………., Seeing the loss of moral ,ethical values of most of the people,where we have become too much self centered………..Seeing the degree of advancement , that science has brought in last ten years,but in turn snatched away the peace,smile,happiness of most of us…………………perhaps it seems that we are heading towards major devastation in the recent nearby future,perhaps to the extent the we have harmed the nature,perhaps to the extent that we have forgotten all human values, to the extent that we have become too selfish…the nature,earth may play devastating roles,as whatever the signs which we are seeing are warning us ………..and if its so,we have less time…………..and within this time ,we need to look into ourselves, to look into ours soul nature…………to realize who am I ,and where I am bound too,to understand that the science advancements and technologies always do not lead us in the right path………..otherwise it will be too late.
