October 31, 2013 CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY WITH ONE N ALL………. Hello to one and all: Friends, I had joined the FACEBOOK book fraternity, where I was introduced by my younger daughter like daughter-in-law Swati, on my BIRTHDAY i.e. the 1st of Nov. 2011, and while I have satisfactorily completed 24 months amidst all my lovely FBFs, I’m continuing this journey very happily……. In fact I shall be celebrating my coming B’DAY just after 2 days on the Ist of November with all my pretty FBFs. You see, when many of us get up in the morning, we open the curtains of our room to see what’s happening outside and our next action is to open the windows, to allow some fresh air to come inside the room….. Well, as I believe in the thought that: “Friends are the sunshine of life,” I cherish each n every FBF and have great admiration n respect for all of them. Hence, when I get up in the morning, I open my laptop to see what’s happening in my small FB world, and then I scan the different pages of the FB to get the latest news about my friends; moreover to read other interesting and knowledgeable things posted by them, since the last time when I had switched off my laptop. Thus, I try to remain connected with my wonderful; “Family of FB Friends” discovered through the FB. In this way I’m also able to share some of the happy or (God forbid) sometimes even grim moments with all my friends. Joys shared are joys multiplied; sorrows shared are sorrows divided. Well, this is how I begin my day. I must admit that the association of all my dear & loved ones means a lot to me, and at the same time I would also like to take the opportunity of expressing my great appreciation to all those, who have either accepted my friendship or have extended their hand of friendship towards me, during my memorable journey on the Gr8 FB all these months….. I feel very happy to see all my friendz, from time to time, through my lap top, but I have been very lucky to be with some of them even FACE-TO-FACE, such as: Vikas Jha (Noida); Pankaj Dewani & Surjit Man (Both who call me Babu Ji); Sameer Shrivastava & his wife Kirti ( Both husband-wife Writers from Bhopal); Ranjan Kr (Agra); Umesh Varshney Ji, Shruti Choudhry n her brother Gaurav (All 3 from Lucknow); Kishore Nigam JI (Kanpur, treats me like his elder Brother) & Anil Shrivastav Ji (Both associated with Allahabad Bank); Nitin Ji, Sohini Mishra n Purushottam Bajpai Ji (All 3 from Mumbai), Jai Prakash Bhatia Ji (my brother from Ludhiana), Pradeep Kr Ji (Rawat Bhata, Raj.), Babita Srivastav, Ramesh Bhasin n Savita Inamar (All 3 from Delhi), Hemendu Kamal (Patna), Andrew Hoffland (Delhi), Prit Pal Singh Chadha Sahib Ji (affectionately my Maama Ji) of Delhi ……plus a few others. It has been a gr8 blessing to have met all these friends face-to-face, whose memories have got etched into my mind, heart n soul for all times to come. I have full love n respect for all my FBFs, who are like the beautiful flowers in my garden of friends. I would like to avail of this opportunity to express my humble thanks to each one of you for always being with me n around me on the Gr8 FB, which makes my journey here smooth, comfortable n happy........ Well, it has been a great fun spending quality time n unforgettable moments with each n every one……..As it’s a fact that some memory is attached with each n every contact of mine, so I hope to meet some of my other FBFs also FACE-TO-FACE some day…… May I also add that during my journey there may have been moments when someone or the other may have felt something lacking on my part, so I wud also like to apologize to all those concerned.
