October 4th which was last month was worth remembering It was the centenary of The Royal Australian Navys arrival of its first navy fleet on the 4th of October 1913. It was celebrated by a huge exercise name Triton Centenary and upon its completion some of the greatest and friendliest warships in the world then sailed from Jarvis Bay and arrived in Sydney Harbour for the October 4th calibrations Which if Im not wrong has included some 60 ships from all over the world including civilian sail powered tall ships and commercial tenders and incredible fighting machines. So last month the Sydney Harbour was filled with a spectacular international fleet review including Brunei, China, Micronesia, France Russia, India Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Tonga, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Spain, Pakistan, Thailand, Toga, Papua New Guinea, Singapore. Which may mean this hundred effort leaves many open doors should you need to call out to some one the high seas and find roots in the colour of these flags should you see them flying on board a vessel. How very impressive.
