October is here and November is right around the corner, it’s not too early to mark your calendar for our Veterans Day Open House! Energetic Health Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine will host an open house on Saturday, November 16 in honor of Veterans Day. To show our appreciation to those who have served in any branch of the military we will give free mini acupuncture treatments and mini chair massages from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are available to those who have served during active-duty or during times of peace, along with their family members. Those interested should call 630-553-1783 to schedule a time slot. Acupuncture has been used to successfully treat ailments experienced by active service personal, those newly returning home and also seasoned veterans. Patients have found relief from headaches, anxiety and depression, muscular discomfort, joint pain, and insomnia. Acupuncture can also be helpful in treating those experiencing grief and PTSD. Shirley Staples, Licensed Massage Therapist will provide free chair massages. Massage aides in reducing chronic muscular tension and pain as well as decreased anxiety and stress. Clients may also experience enhanced sleep quality and improved flexibility and circulation.
