Ode, Friends on Facebook If only I had Facebook to communicate with friends, To reunite lost relationships and wrongs to amend. If only I had Facebook to catch up on things, pertaining to their lives; the comfort it brings. If only I had Facebook to view daily pics; to oh and to ah at their camera tricks. I do have Facebook and what do I view? The mean, hateful comments posted daily anew. With no regards to the people called friends; most posts caused rifts and put friendships to end. Without any restraints, people vehemently comment; not caring about the meanings seem meant. Now they wonder why peace cannot abound, because they are careless and voice every sound. So why are we gathering friends on our wall? Is it to hurt and insult them, an open season on all? Even on FB, we will live with consequence. When the postings, no longer important and have relevance. And we ve lost most of our friends both near and far because we could not value their friendship, a lesson in being subpar.
