Odessa Neighborhood Watch Update We have not had any crime incidents in our neighborhood since November 2 when a woman stole the cash box at a yard sale. At our recent Neighborhood Watch meeting, Pasco County Sergeant, Sgt Jones, introduced our new Detective, Det Birge. They planned to increase patrols in our neighborhood; and, offered good advice for those of you who are planning yard sales. Wear a money belt and keep your money on you at all times. Never leave money in a box or unattended. This tip was provided following the incident in Wyndham Lakes where money was stolen by a woman who appeared to be a yard sale shopper. Our next Neighborhood Watch meeting will be in February. In the meantime, please remember to report any suspicious activity or suspicious people in our neighborhood. Be on the lookout during the holidays when more of our neighbors will have Amazon and other packages at their door.
