Of all the Armor of God have you ever wondered why peace is applied to the feet? One would think maybe the head or the heart ... But no its on the feet. God is all precise and specific in His word toward purpose and effectual action according to His establish rule. In other words...theres a way things work and its unchangeable. Therefore in his word He instructs us with ALL direction that brings blessing. On peace...that one thing that, if you dont KEEP, can really reek havoc and would permeate into every fiber of life even the capability of consistent sleep/rest. So why the feet? Soon you will crush satan under your feet and we walk worthy and run the race, correct? Feet symbolically get us somewhere we desire to go. Child of The Most High whereas all things are under your feet bc you ARE seated WITH Him IN heavenly places...get to crushing the thoughts that disturb and toss you to and fro. People will do what they do. They can be a conduit unaware. But peace is a choice. He says keep (not go get it), make peace (the world will not give it to you-well it will in a temporal way but The Lord says- MY peace I give you, not as the world gives). Dont define what is the peace of the world as Gods peace...dont grow accustom to the fake peace but learn and be aware what Gods peace is like...it is a peace that surpasses ALL understanding- even ours. The peace that when kept is displayed/revealed that you have kept it when there is still in your storm, calm in the chaos, abundance in loss, joy in sight of sorrow. KEEP your peace for it has a purpose ....to crush the very one thats only purpose is to devour you and hinder you from knowing what POWER you already have in you in Christ Jesus...in His rest.
