Of all the Dialogues we organised while I was at Xstrata, the one where author (Its Our Turn to Eat - a book about grand corruption in Kenya) and journalist Michaela Wrong spoke was the most fascinating. The scale of the corruption she described seemed unfathomable to many in the audience. Quite a few expressed incredulity that such corruption and excess were possible. I have since met many of them in the past year. They seem to have wrapped their heads around it quite well these days.
