Of all the things that happens at work that make me cringe sometimes, my one resident made me smile and cry tnt. He just got back from the hospital yesterday. He rang his call bell to be assisted to go to the restroom. We were talking a little about his condition and he stopped, grabbed my hand and with tears in his eyes he said thank you for saving my life. the sincerity in his eyes and voice made me get all emotional. I love my over grown kiddos. I love taking care of them and nurturing them. Its rewarding to know that i am a imporant and positive influence to someone.
