If they are not doing so already, I hope that high-end legal teams and activist support committees in the biggest cities in the U.S. will soon begin planning a coordinated legal campaign to find the right plaintiff and set of circumstances [and there are unfortunately so many from which to choose] to begin another legal challenge to the policy of police using chokeholds in misdemeanor situations and any other policing situations involving unarmed and nonviolent suspects. There are MANY, MANY people -- pro-bono legal eagles, citizen activists, and anonymous funders -- who would surely give their time and support to such an effort.
