Of course, the morning before we go to play the Opry, I wake up - TopicsExpress

Of course, the morning before we go to play the Opry, I wake up with a sore throat. However, I did have the most amazing dream! My happiest dreams are always about being in a junk shop or at a yard sale, estate sale, etc. This time, the village of Holy Cross was an actual village. There was a garden center, Gallatoires had a satellite cafe, coffee shop, general store, Po-boy stand, and of course, antique shops! It looked like everything had been there for years, like a coastal village in Maine, but New Orleans style (not Perez project!) after walking around for awhile, I found the antique center and of course, went in-even though I was late to meet Matt. On a little stand on the counter (run by an elderly man, not a hipster) was a pair of enormous gloves. They had been custom made for someone who had lobster claws for thumbs-not the traditional lobster boy deformity in side shows. In addition to the pinchers, there were two sets of three fingers on each hand. They were beautifully made, soft tan doe-skin, and they were only $10, which, of course I didnt have. I ran out to find Matt to borrow it, but we were late for a meeting of some kind and they were left behind......OK Jungians, what does that mean?! It was such a happy and curious dream, I had to share it!
