Of recent, I have seen a trend of more ‘preachers’ springing up on Facebook trying to bring ‘revelation’ or insight into truth. While I endorse and encourage the spread of the gospel and the ‘word’, I believe we have to exercise more caution and wisdom. Lets be mindful of the fact that even posts on Facebook are limited to certain maximum characters (I stand corrected on that) and the truth of certain scriptures at times need to be ‘rightly divided’ with scriptural backings and contextual relationships. Sometimes a post on FB is not enough to do justice on a kingdom truth and so, it would be wiser to deal with such things within the frameworks of a proper ‘bible study’ time. Also Facebook has the concepts of Notes where you can then ‘break’ down the principles of the word properly. Better still use a blog and articulate the truth of God’s word properly Let’s be mindful that sometimes a post can do more harm than justice (even with the right intentions) when its not ‘rightly divided’ or taught. There is a place for ’TEACHING’ and I personally think Facebook is NOT THAT PLACE. Just my humble opinion, be free to disagree or agree.
