This project brings together the youngsters from different European countries. From each partner organization there will be 6 participants and 1 leaders. One of the aims of the project the youth exchange “Youth Peering With Orienteering Project” project will bring together 49 participants from 7 countries, Kosovo, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, Croatia to enhance healthy lifestyles for youth instead of sedentary lives which nowadays young people adopt due to technology, by creating an outdoor sports network which will continue with new projects after “Youth Peering With Orienteering Project”. Orienteering is the main sport to be done during the Project week, however, various activities like rafting, demo rock climbing, trekking offers the basis and the tools for implementation of the outdoor sports activities. The applicant is hosting the project.The place of exchange is Düzce, Turkey and the duration of the exchange is 10 days.During these days, participants will perform orienteering and other nature sports as well as learn about healthy role models, outdoor and survival skills like living in dark, cooking without ready made materials.Also, participants will work in groups to discuss youth Programs, Youth in Europe and European citizenship by building group blogs and creating materials for discussion. In a further perspective the young participants will play an essential role in mentoring and guiding other youth peers looking for healthier and peaceful trails through physically and demanding challenges.The Network built during the project will continue through project social network and new partnerships.
