Off to London on Wednesday and leaving Marg Raynor at home to hold down the fort. We have a womens Sweat here Wednesday evening that Marg and Naagiishgo-kwe Ethel Chynoweth Pawis do the cooking for the Feast and Jen is due on Friday. As much as I would like to have Marg along, I think that she would be somewhat destracted given what else is going on. I finally did the paper that I am to present at the CAA annual meeting on Thursday. Ive only had since February to prepare it. 80 slide PP to present in 20 min. I will use the PP as my timer as I talk over it. Hope these guys can walk and chew gum at the same time. Luckily the put me on just before lunch so if I run overtime (as I have been known to do) I will not be holding anyone else up. Theyll just have to decide whether to listen to me our go to eat - hmmmm I know what my choice would be. So much for the Q&A. The good news is I get to stay with Rodger & Wendy Nixon whom I have not had a chance to visit with since they moved to London a number of years ago. I forgot that it is the 24 long weekend when I planned this trip. I think that I will hang in till Saturday before I head into the city to see Jen Atkinson, Jason Paterson and the baby or back up home. This status update is a little long but I guess doing this paper got me in the writng mood.
