Office Manager The New Brunswick Association for Community Living (NBACL) is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, experienced administrative professional committed to the vision, values and philosophy of inclusion. Under the direction of the Director of Finance, HR & Office Administration, the Office Manager will be responsible to organize and coordinate daily office operations in order to ensure workplace effectiveness in both the NBACL provincial and regional offices. The Office Manager will also be the first point of contact for NBACL, to members of the public, visitors, stakeholders, and staff members, receiving and directing callers and visitors. The successful candidate will be a key member of the NBACL Administrative support team and responsible for various support functions within the organization, providing day-to-day administrative support in a highly professional and confidential manner to several NBACL programs, volunteers and staff. Interested candidates must have a proven track record of teamwork with a strong administrative background. The Office Manager position, located in Fredericton, is a 37.5 hour/week salaried position. Roles and responsibilities will include: Coordinate with the NBACL administrative team to ensure all administrative needs are being met in all NBACL offices on a daily basis; Answering the telephone, meet and greet people, filter incoming calls, emails and distribute accordingly; Prepare, order and distribute resources for training and events and requests from individuals, families, etc.; Preparing for meetings and provide a range of administrative support duties for program staff; Book travel arrangements for staff, volunteers and board members as required; Ensure all office equipment, resources, supplies are ordered and available for all NBACL offices; Maintaining up-to-date equipment and computer inventory listings for all NBACL offices; Participate as a member of the joint health and safety committee in all required activities; Preparation and delivery of shipments for courier, Canada Post, Maritime Bus and all other mail duties. Qualifications and education requirements: Post-secondary education; Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in administrative service and management; Business equipment and computer applications: Windows, general office equipment; Microsoft Outlook and Calendar, MS Word, MS Excel; Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle necessary for daily work related duties and required short errand runs; Criminal record check is required; Must speak, read and write both English and French fluently. Essential Skills: Ability to work as part of a positive team in a fast paced environment; Excellent computer skills and the ability to solve computer issues with minimal assistance; Reading text and document use; Works efficiently in both independent and group settings, often juggling multiple tasks or projects simultaneously and maintains flexibility while doing so; Proven confidentiality and professionalism in all oral and written communications and situations; Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational, communication and time management skills.
