Officers took action against three nuisance motorcyclists in Peterborough yesterday. Sgt Gareth Phillips used his motorcycle to intercept the riders at Crown Lakes, Farcet, and at Hampton pits. Three Section 59 warnings were issued, meaning the riders motorbike can be seized if they are seen riding anti-socially again. No permission has been given for motorcyclists to use the pits. Use of cycle ways and footpaths to get onto the pits is also prohibited under the Road Traffic Act. Anyone with information about anti-social behaviour should call police on 101.
