Official Lightswitch-Flipping Ceremony: Boyd Gate House original Lamp Post Restoration! Friday, January 24 ~ 6:00pm Join San Rafael Mayor Gary Phillips as he flips the switch of the restored, freshly reinstalled lamp post that was a part of the original design of the Boyd Gate House, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The lamp post was run into and severely damaged 40 years ago, and has been recently repaired and is being reinstalled all due to the initiative and funding by Museum Legacy Donor and Lead Volunteer, Jeff Craemer. Various local parties, including Zappetini & Son, Seaside Construction and the City of San Rafael have contributed to this endeavor.
