Official market announcement: The Gap Farmers Market will remain at Hilder Road State School!!! Most of you would know that the relocation to Hilder Road State School was initially a temporary one while work was under way on The Gap State School grounds. However we found an overwhelming number of stallholders and shoppers from right across the community expressing their preference to stay put. After much deliberation, the decision has been made – its staying at Hilder Road State School! So this Sundays market will signal the first in its permanent new position. Come celebrate with us and check out our many new stalls! Wed like to thank The Gap State School Principal Peter Cooper, whose overall goal was to help establish a Farmers Market for The Gap community; a perfect fit with his philosophy of community building. And he did it! Secondly wed like to thank Hilder Road State School Principal John Collins, who has absolutely embraced our growing Farmers Market onto his schools grounds. And finally a big thank you to all our shoppers and stallholders for continuing to support our beautiful not-for-profit community Farmers Market. Oh and please tell as many friends as you can to join you at the market this Sunday. Let them know we have plenty of offsite and shaded onsite parking!
