Often I have seen when troubling events having occurred within the context of family it is the wife who holds things together. Not in a dismissive or cavalier way... Understandably very painful initially... Yet, after about six months slowly opening up to connecting with the spouse... Cold... yes, things may be cold for a while and understandably so. Yet, In time ones wife being incredibly supportive, as well as holding another responsible. Often this being a win-win situation for all involved. The reality being the sorting out of the couples issues (and there are ALWAYS issues) best resolved with professional intervention. Counseling...
