Often I see things we never got to do to our house, and I envy people with nicer or newer houses. Then I think about the fun, the love, and the friends that shared this place with us. The nine of us and many stray friends made hundreds of memories here. Daughter-in-laws and grandchildren are doing so now. I am thankful to have a house big enough to hold us and friends, a roof over our heads, and shelter from storms. And how can I dare complain when some people have no home at all, or they live in a box? Forgive me for my envy. Thank you, Lord, for giving us seven sons, wives and children for them, and for not giving us a fancy house. You knew we didnt need a fancy house; we needed a home!!
