Often people focus too much on the weight that they lift as opposed to how they lift it. Bodybuilding is less about moving maximum weight, and more about keeping the muscle under tension. The resistance is what we need to in order to grow. I am on no way suggesting that you should never lift heavy, I am merely advocating that the weight should be heavy enough for you to be able to resist under it, long enough to fatigue the muscle. This methodology is the key my present training, and I adopted by many athletes. Here is a snipet or the chest, delts and tris days, showing those principles. The fly was done with 30kgs, which is not my max, my max is 40kg, but in order to get the maximum amount of time under tension, we slow the cadence down, and this immediately affect the weight capacity. The dip is loaded with 40kgs around my weight also not my max, but is my max for that slow speed. Forging ahead. Special mention to: Titan Labs Perfect Physique Music: incompetech
