Often, the person giving the silent treatment does so because they want (consciously or unconsciously) their victim to feel unworthy, to appease them, or to feel guilty about something. Alternatively they may want their victim to apologise for something, even though often they choose not to clarify what it is actually wrong! Never internalise the bad behaviour of another. Often, what is wrong is within them, which is why they cant just say what it is you supposedly did. Good perception skills will often tell you what it is you did (ie put the events that lead to the silent treatment together and you will find the answer). I guarantee you, it is them wanting something you are not giving, or you have or did something that made them feel inadequate. Guarantee!
