Ogun REC extends PVC distribution by one day. Given the large number of residents in Ogun State who could either not find their names in the voters’ register or secure new registration, the Independent National Electoral Commission State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr. Sam Olumekun, has said the exercise will end on Monday. Originally, the exercise was scheduled to end on Sunday. The first two days of the exercise which started on Friday were marred by these hitches. Olumekun agreed that there were hitches, stressing that the extension became necessary.
