Oh I am beyond PISSED! Do not EVER EVER EVER do business with purebredbreeders. They are a bullshit pet broker who is only concerned with marking your pups up and screwing over the breeder in the process. They called me about placing my pups on their site... told me its at no cost to me Told me I set my own pricing on my pups and my shipping price. Told me all thy require is that I give a 1 year health guarantee (I give a two year - lucky them). Once I placed my pups on the site they marked my pups up by $850 on top of the $1500 I charge and the $350 for shipping, making these pups like $2500-$2950. They CLAIM the markup is to cover their efforts to sale your pup and their 10 year health guarantee.... How in the hell is any place gonna give a 10 year health guarantee on a breed predicted to live 8-10? On top of that they NEVER had me sign any kind of documentation or contract that Id honor any type of personal health guarantee which to me is hinky anyway. What stops a dishonest person from screwing their customer and not honoring the health guarantee? They never had me send in health certificates, OFAs or pedigrees on the parents.... How can you guarantee someone buying a dog if you yourself have no knowledge on the lineage of the dog? That to me also set off red flags. They listed my pups and sold one.... I had to jump through major hoops to collect the money on the pup and it took nearly a week to recover... All the while I was out $50 on the pups health check and time to get the pup vet health checked, get the kennel for flight, book the flight etc. I finally did receive funds on the pup after numerous back and forths to get it. Now, I also get NO contract on this sold pup, not from the customer who bought the pup or pure bred breeders. So now this customer can do whatever the hell they want with my line.... They assured me they placed the pup on non breeding rights... yet refuse to give me a copy of the customers supposed contract with them for privacy reasons. Now they sold a second pup... I went and got the pup health checked... paid $50 for that health check, pulled all her ads, same deal shes been on hold for 4 days with them.... booked her flight this morning that took 45 minutes and they send me a damn e mail that the customer cancelled. When I inquired on how I would be compensated for the money and time out their answer was simply We apologize for this inconvenience but we didnt charge the customer any cancellation fee. So now Im out $50 on a health check, loosing possible sales from pulling her ads.... time to book a flight, time to get the health check all because they allow a person to just cancel...???. This is why breeders charge a non refundable deposit because it costs us time and possible other sales placing a pup on hold for a buyer.... and they are gonna tell me Whelp were sorry. So I got passed to a manager LIVID at the situation and the manager basically told me their concern and point is to provide the CUSTOMER with a positive experience and in a nut shell told me they dont give a crap about the breeder! Well Im sorry I refuse to do business with such CALLOUS people. So when I told him that I wanted my ads pulled immediately on all my pups... he said he would have his breeder relations department give me a call! I dont want a call... Get my dogs off the website before you screw me more! So now I just want to let anyone contemplating doing business with them to not do business with them. They are obviously after the buck on customers and not about breeder support. I get that a customer is priority but you DONT piss off and screw the very people your buying the dog from to basically re sale to make a profit for yourself.... The dog flipping nature itself doesnt necessarily piss me off its the idea that oh well breeder suck it up eat the loss we dont care about you that pisses me off. and YES I tagged their asses in this post so they know Ive got them blasted for BAD BUSINESS!
