Oh,I am so grateful for these words Jesus spoke: My kingdom is not of this world. Dear Lord, This world in which we live...it is so beautiful! Everything you have made is too glorious for words. The majestic mountains, the powerful oceans, the tiniest of birds, the brilliant snowflakes, the stars and moon...all so beautiful! Thank you for everything you have created. Come quickly, Jesus, so we can spend eternity in the heavenly place you have prepared for us. Sometimes though, Lord, its hard to live here...its too painful, too sad, too difficult for our finite minds to understand. We want war to cease, illnesses to vanish and sorrow to be gone. In our confusion, we cry out to you for comfort and mercy. You are our hiding place, our shelter in the storm, our shoulder to cry on. Be our strength as we travel our journey on this earth and please tell us what we can do to hasten your return. In the name of your precious Son Jesus, we ask this of you. Amen.
