Oh Kira! So, where are we with our anxious husky with a skin condition that makes her extremely fragile? Well, she has not touched any of her wounds in days, (KNOCK ON WOOD). But, caring for her does have its challenges. For instance, just playing with Whitney always leaves her with wounds on her cheeks and on her neck, but stopping that is impossible. The weird thing is, it doesnt bother her at all and she heals really quickly. However, yesterday, since I work the store, an aggressive dog came in, and since she tries to be a bit bossy sometimes, I put her in the grooming room with Asland for about 5 minutes. When I leave her anywhere I am always afraid of what I will find when I go get her. Sure enough, I had a heart attack, when I opened the door she was surrounded by blood drops. OH MAN! So, I called Dyl upstairs to watch the store so I could see what exactly she did. After a thorough investigation the only wound on her was a small pinhole on her cheek. Kira likes cats, a lot, she follows them to play with them, BUT, when you follow the blood drops, they led to Misty, one of our Pet Connections, who lets just say, apparently didnt like Kira saying hi. So, a heart attack for a tiny little pinhole on her cheek. BUT, the good news, she didnt touch any of her wounds while she was away for me:)
