Oh, before I get to the bullocks, I sort of met Orlando’s dog, too! I didn’t realize it was Sidi until the dog-walker had to pass me to get to the theatre side door. His coat was ultra shiny, so I believe Orlando must use Wen Pets (am I right, WEN by Chaz Dean ;-)?) The bullocks? Sod’s Law followed me throughout my entire trip. My phone was wonky, so I took my mum’s phone (which as you can see doesn’t take the best photos) and the elevator broke in my hotel, so I had to walk down 4 flights of stairs in my heels (I took my time because damned if I was going to come all that way only to die by breaking my neck before I even SAW the play!). When I exited the theatre, I didn’t expect to be right on the side where the actors come out. I obviously knew that people always wait to see Orlando, but as I said, my luck being the way it is, I had no delusions of coming out and seeing him myself, so that was a plus. Of course, that meant there had to be a negative. A big, or should I say, small one. I’m Hobbit-sized. I just am. I am a petite girl, so even in heels I can’t see over most people. Therefore, OF COURSE every New York GIANT was in front of me waiting at the door! There I am with the crap phone camera, trying to see around all of these long limps and high-falutin’ phones and what can I say? Exhibit A is the photo I took when Orlando came out. I even tried to take a photo of other people’s phones in the hopes of getting a better picture of him, but no such luck. I couldn’t even work the video fast enough to get him when he was near my side! UGH! I know he couldn’t see me when I called out, because I was drowning in people. :-( Exhibit B is the photo I finally took with him in it. HA! If you squint and look past the body guard, you can see him on the opposite side with his back turned as he’s signing autographs. (insert sad trumpet wah wah wah sounds for my pathetic photo skills). All in all, because I didn’t expect to see him, I’m not that disappointed in the lack of photographic evidence. Plus, anything’s better than when I tried to see him in London when he was in “In Celebration”. We’ll call that “The Passport Debacle of 2007”. All I’ll say about that is South Carolina can SUCK IT!!!!!
