Oh boy! Bruce Lindner, who is a level headed, well informed and generally witty thinker calls out a popular website/FB pretense on their skewed reporting. He makes a critical and valid point. I will also add that it is becoming more and more important to exercise caution as we gather our information ... these people delivering our news and opinion pieces are utilzing embellishment more and more, and/or only telling part of the story, write in tricky ways to make us forget there is other side, to influence and agitate. Which I presume in turn drives revenue. The obsession with revenue growth demands that they continue upping the ante, so to speak, to more and more ridiculous and incendiary headlines to make us click. The truth is being distorted. It is our responsibility to evaluate our sources and not just accept things as presented because they fit with our bias. Let us always try to look beyond the surface, look for references and citations. Please, do your own due diligence because the days of reliable Walter Cronkite are gone. It is a dangerous world of misinformation and distorted information and we should not fall prey to their manipulations!
