Oh heavens! its soo much fun living in the Mountains! Im sitting here trying to deal with my emails etc before my laptop runs out of charge. We had a lot of snow last night and of course as usual we now have power lines down and no power and no idea how long before it will be restored. This is getting me down as I think its wrong that every time we have weather we end up with no power and worse?? At this very same time last year we had bush fires in which 7 of my neighbors lost their homes and this was caused by a power line brought down by the wind. It seems that the NSW state Gov. is not keeping the power utilities in safe and good order??? Same thing happened in Springwood last year where over 200 homes were destroyed due to downed power lines and high winds. Sorry guys but I am in a winging mood since I cant do anything else today; cant do any sewing and flat out just trying to stay warm with no central heating. I thought winter was over; it was 26 degrees on the weekend and today it is 2 degrees. Ive got the fire going but Im down to my last chunk of wood!!
