Oh. my. Gah. This is perfect. An amazing explanation of how media feeds women total bullshit about romance, and the dangerous way guys adhere to this notion that a woman is an object to be won, and is not capable of deciding on her own who she should (and shouldnt) be with. Ladies, every time youve been creeped out by a romantic gesture that seems like a tired romcom trope or been hit on while you were serving a table, that instinct about it that makes your blood run cold is spot on.
