Oh my gosh I had a scare!!!! Im working in my office, which is in the far corner of my lower walk-out level, and Ginger does her own thing....but usually comes in every now and then to check on me, or shes lounging in the next room. I got up to look in on her and no Ginger! Thats odd. So I called her. No Ginger. So I opened the slider and called her, thinking maybe I put her outside and forgot. No Ginger. So I went upstairs and started looking around. No Ginger. So I was beginning to get frantic. I went outside and checked the gate she sometimes has managed to open, it was locked. I began yelling for her outside even though I couldnt imagine how she got out. No Ginger. Then, I thought of the one place I hadnt looked.....I went inside and opened the garage door from the kitchen and there she was. I am still baffled how she got in the garage without me knowing. I wondered if shed been loose and a neighbor put her in the garage, but the service door was dead bolted. So, I can only surmise she followed me out when I got something out of the car and didnt make it back in with me. Luckily it wasnt hot in there. I never heard her bark, if she did. She was in there once before and never made a peep....so its possible she just sat there waiting for me to come get her. She certainly showed a lot of relief when she saw me!
