Oh my gosh.....what a great second season for us. We have surpassed our original marketing plan by plenty. We are finally at the slow down of our peak season. We have had some wonderful guests and new friends from all over the world. Our next set of guests arrive on Friday and then family arrives on Sat. We have a few more folks in November and December. This year we had to decline more than 15 reservations because we were full. We are looking forward to several events near us: Luccas ComiCon is this weekend. They already have had 230,000 arrive for it. Crazy, crazy....Lucca at its craziest. Coming up this November a white truffle festival and a chocolate festival. In December, a myriad of Holiday festivals and feasts including Ghivizzanos Aspettando Natale (Holiday Festival) which this year is December 1. Again, this year, they have asked me to put together an exhibition during the festival. We have been without guests for 2 days. As much as we love having guests and innkeeping, we also love our time to relax. We had friends over for dinner last night and we enjoyed it soooooo much. We have two weeks off in November. Looking forward to it. Our last guests arrive end of December. Cheers to innkeeping.
