Oh, my life...I find out a third child of mine has scoliosis today. I have 2 children currently under treatment for acute symptoms from concussions (not to mention my own TBI traumatic brain injury problems), all 4 kids have asthma, 1 with kidney disease, 2 kids with severe food allergies, 1 with school issues, 3 of us suffer with migraines,1 with horrible knee problems, one with ichthyosis, 3 with eczema, a husband who required a partial fused wrist (his job requires he use his wrist)...and he really needs the other one done, but then would lose his job, now today we find out that he needs major jaw surgery that will probably break his jaw, me....well I am trying to deal with living with vision loss and not being able to drive and residual problems from a head injurys and head and neck pain......... and there is so MUCH MORE with all of us.... can you say stress????? I dont ask much of anything from anyone......matter of fact I havent even seen the inside of the mall in over a year...no hair cut for 3 years, i am home or at doctors appointments....not much fun there!!! Yet I get scrutinized, my family too! We get judged thru YOUR eyes. STEP in our shoes.... See how it feels when one of your kids asks you to go somewhere and you have to swallow real hard wipe your tears and say NO all because you cant drive and cant find them a ride! You can sit there and judge Darren....he has to work terrible hours all during kids activities or doctor appt times....its no easy chore! You may think you may know us but you DONT! If you knew us you would see threw the smiles....you would see all the times we sit alone....better yet...you would SEE the GREATNESS in US if you REALLY knew us! Yes we have so much going on but WE yes WE WE WE help OTHERS, dont take, dont ask and dont expect anything. We would give the shirt off our back to anyone in need, and try to not judge! We only think we deserve respect. When days, hours, months, years go by....and you wait and hope that someone would just come by...without asking... and it never happens.... you really wonder. I do for you and for many many many others...hmmmmm what have you done??? I know who we are. I know what a GREAT family I have, and how blessed I am....guess thats all that really matters!
