Oh my, what an uplifting couple of hours at the Canadian Cancer Society this afternoon. The LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER workshop was amazing. I learned some new techniques for makeup application; watched demonstrations on how wear and beautify hats, caps and bandanas; and how to care for wigs of varying styles and colours. A special shout out to the Canadian Cancer Society volunteers, including Lori Mitchell of Silhouettes Boutique. And, above all, a warm embrace and thank you to the courageous women who were there today, for showing up and supporting each other as we take this journey together. I unpacked an amazing box of goodies that will go a long way to help me LOOK GOOD AND FEEL BETTER. Thanks to all the sponsors and to Debb Pitel for her special gifts.
